Lola Funes

Lola Funes is a makeup artist and hair stylist based between Andorra and Barcelona.

Her talent has been well valued in the audiovisual and fashion industries, having worked for important firms and professionals in the sector. At the age of 20 she left his native Andalusia to study artistic makeup and characterisation at the prestigious Stick Art Studio school in Barcelona. After that, she began to collaborating in independent theatres and production companies. In 2008 she signed in a production company as a makeup artist chief, giving her the opportunity to continuing learning and growing as a professional.

As a restless person and very eager for knowledge, she looked for the best place in Barcelona to learn special effects, that's where he stumbled upon the ZerosFX workshop in Badalona. There she learned the latest techniques used in films, in addition to the entire process of creating characters with prostheses and animatronics. One of the most motivating, interesting and creative experiences of her life.
 

After realised that the industry increasingly demands more high skilled professionals, she decided to study hairdressing and style in one of the most prestigious schools in Barcelona, ​​Miguel Griñó. Once there, she developed skills and knowledge which lead her increasing her works level. With almost 15 years of experience in the sector, throughout these years as a freelance, she has grown as a professional, having worked in theatres, short films, television programs, video clips, advertising, private clients ... Her versatility, gift to treat people and knowledge of English language, make her a complete professional in the sector.
